American Polymer Company specializes in the manufacturing of precast underground vaults.
APC quality and process technician is responsible for ensuring that the products, processes, and procedures meet a pre-defined standard of quality. They will develop, manage, and organize all inspection efforts for finished goods, raw materials, and any other plant project.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections on materials
- Coordinate with the production department to ensure efficient processes are being used
- Perform audits on processes to analyze effectiveness and participation
- Create improvements to processes to improve quality/safety/efficiencies
- Participate in processes to improve quality and increase productivity
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times
- Test both finished goods and raw materials for compliance
- Provide training and education to new hires and employees as necessary
- Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working order
Requirements:
- Computer skills to collect data, run reports, and present to the team
- Quality experience preferred
