APC Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of items in warehouse and throughout the yard. Operator will coordinate with management on the delivery and shipment of items throughout the day. Other duties include ensuring company policies and procedures are followed and participation in various improvement projects.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with management for both delivered items to receive and items to ship.
- Follow shipping schedule to meet deadlines.
- Keep yard organized and clean.
- Work with plant operators to assist with pulling and storing needed material.
- Assist in manufacturing related special projects when applicable.
Skills:
- Proven experience as forklift operator.
- Basic understanding of shipping/receiving process.
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime.
